And this is what God revealed:

Only God is perfect.

Genesis 1:26 ... let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.

Dahil sinabi ng Diyos "let them have dominion", "let them rule".

Hindi naman puwede i-trust ni God sa atin ang buong sanlibutan tapos makiki-alam Siya about the way we take rule over the earth.

Sinabi ni God "let them rule".

"Let them rule".

Definitions of authority:
1. The power to enforce laws, exact obedience and command
2. Power assigned to another
3. freedom granted by one in authority

Defintions of freewill:
1. Done of one's own accord;
2. voluntary

John 1:14
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Genesis 2:17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it YOU WILL SURELY DIE."

Psalm 139:15-16

You were not a mistake, for all your days are written in my book...

Paano 'Pag Dumating Si Jesus Christ Ngayon?

Alam niyo blessed tayo pag di dumating sa lifetime natin and second coming ni Jesus Christ, take note po, it's Jesus Christ, hindi Jesus lang or Christ lang kundi si Jesus Christ ang babalik muli. Jesus, the body, and Christ the son of God, our King, Lord and Saviour.

Sinasabi ko po na magiging blessed tayo pag di dumating sa lifetime natin and second coming ni Jesus Christ, kasi we don't have to experience tribulation. Tribulation is mentioned in Revelation and even in the Book of Matthews, in the New Testament.

Gutom, sakit, epidemya, lindol, digmaan, at massacre, at marami pa. Ang tribulation ay mangyayari at mangyayari before the second coming of Jesus Christ.

We can still do something. It's said nga in the bible, that until the Gospel of the Kingdom is preached around the world as a testimony, the end will not come. (Basahin niyo po sa Matthews Chapter 24).

Kaya lang sabi ni Lord, everything must happen. At pag dumating sa lifetime natin ang second coming ni Jesus Christ, it's our opportunity to worship God even more through our faithfulness.

Sabi du'n sa book of Matthews, "and those who will stand firm will be saved."

Everything is completed.

Kaya lang kasi we are still living in this earthly flesh, itong katawan natin na maagnas.

Ay naku matakot ka kung wala pa si Christ sa heart mo and His second coming will not come in our lifetime. Even sabihin nuon, isa lang ang bagsak mo pagdating Niya, duon sa lake of Fire. Well, alam mo na yun.

God bless you po at sa nagcreate ng thread na to, God has blessed you already.

I'm Taking A Stand

A greedy man stirs up dissension, but he who trusts in the Lord will prosper. Proverbs 28:25 NIV

Amidst all these political chaos that's been going on for the past few weeks about the ZTE controversy, I'd like to point out that the Lord God isn't happy about what's been happening right now.

Even God isn't happy about the rallies of people "acting" to be advocates of truth.

I tell you what's the truth. God said: a man with a greedy heart creates chaos and stirs up different opinions. He further said that he who trusts in the Lord will prosper.

We cannot solve this problem by going out on the streets, shouting out at the top of our lungs screaming for people to move out from their government seats.

Trusting in Him is our ultimate weapon to corruption. Prayer with action, conviction and faith that spans the whole universe is what we should DO right now!

This is the time to hit the sin and not the sinner.

The Phone Call That Was Heard All Over The World

Logan was an ordinary kid with an extraordinary faith. His call one day on a radio station from a small town in Nebraska was heard all across the planet. Listen and watch this touching story of Logan, the calf, the phonecall and his big faith.

The Professor and The Student

This is a repost: http://bigbadjamman.blogspot.com

An atheist professor of philosophy speaks to his class
on the problem science has with God, The Almighty. He
asks one of his new Christian students to stand
and.....

Professor : You are a Christian, aren't you, son?
Student : Yes, sir.

Prof : So you believe in God?
Student : Absolutely, sir.

Prof : Is God good?
Student : Sure.

Prof : Is God all-powerful?
Student : Yes.

Prof : My brother died of cancer even though
he prayed to God to heal him. Most of us would attempt
to help others who are ill. But God didn't. How is
this God good then? Hmm?

(Student is silent.)

Prof : You can't answer, can you? Let's start
again, young fella. Is God good?
Student : Yes.

Prof : Is Satan good?
Student : No.

Prof : Where does Satan come from?
Student : From...God...

Prof : That's right. Tell me son, is there
evil in this world?
Student : Yes.

Prof : Evil is everywhere, isn't it? And God
did make everything. Correct?
Student : Yes.

Prof : So who created evil?

(Student does not answer.)

Prof : Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred?
Ugliness? All these terrible things exist in the
world, don't they?
Student : Yes, sir.

Prof : So, who created them?

(Student has no answer.)

Prof : Science says you have 5 senses you use
to identify and observe the world around you. Tell me,
son...Have you ever seen God?
Student : No, sir.

Prof : Tell us if you have ever heard your
God?
Student : No , sir.

Prof : Have you ever felt your God, tasted
your God, smelt your God? Have you ever had any
sensory perception of God for that matter?
Student : No, sir. I'm afraid I haven't.

Prof : Yet you still believe in Him?
Student : Yes.

Prof : According to empirical, testable,
demonstrable protocol, science says your GOD doesn't
exist. What do you say to that, son?
Student : Nothing. I only have my faith.

Prof : Yes. Faith. And that is the problem
science has.
Student : Professor, is there such a thing as
heat?

Prof : Yes.
Student : And is there such a thing as cold?

Prof : Yes.
Student : No sir. There isn't.

(The lecture theatre becomes very quiet with this turn
of events.)

Student : Sir, you can have lots of heat, even
more heat, superheat, mega heat, white heat, a little
heat or no heat. But we don't have anything called
cold. We can hit 458 degrees below zero which is no
heat, but we can't go any further after that. There is
no such thing as cold. Cold is only a word we use to
describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold.
Heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir,
just the absence of it.

(There is pin-drop silence in the lecture theatre.)

Student : What about darkness, Professor? Is
there such a thing as darkness?
Prof : Yes. What is night if there isn't
darkness?

Student : You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is
the absence of something. You can have low light,
normal light, bright light, flashing light....But if
you have no light constantly, you have nothing and
it's called darkness, isn't it? In reality, darkness
isn't. If it were you would be able to make darkness
darker, wouldn't you?

Prof : So what is the point you are making,
young man?

Student : Sir, my point is your philosophical
premise is flawed.

Prof : Flawed? Can you explain how?

Student : Sir, you are working on the premise of
duality. You argue there is life and then there is
death, a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the
concept of God as something finite, something we can
measure. Sir, science can't even explain a thought. It
uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen,
much less fully understood either one. To view death
as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact
that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death
is not the opposite of life: just the absence of it.
Now tell me, Professor. Do you teach your students
that they evolved from a monkey?

Prof : If you are referring to the natural
evolutionary process, yes, of course, I do.

Student : Have you ever observed evolution with
your own eyes, sir?

(The Professor shakes his head with a smile, beginning
to realize where the argument is going.)

Student : Since no one has ever observed the
process of evolution at work and cannot even prove
that this process is an on-going endeavour, are you
not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a
scientist but a preacher?

(The class is in uproar.)

Student : Is there anyone in the class who has
ever seen the Professor's brain?

(The class breaks out into laughter.)

Student : Is there anyone here who has ever heard
the Professor's brain, felt it, touched or smelt
it?..... No one appears to have done > so. So,
according to the established rules of empirical,
stable, demonstrable protocol, science says that you
have no brain, sir. With all due respect, sir, how do
we then trust your lectures, sir?

(The room is silent. The professor stares at the
student, his face unfathomable.)

Prof : I guess you'll have to take them on
faith, son.

Student : That is it sir.. The link between man &
God is FAITH. That is all that keeps things moving &
alive.

Is Your Team Lazy During Praise And Worship Rehearsals?

Praising and worshipping our Father does not end in acquiring the best instruments, the best microphone, the best amplifier, or the most high tech gadgets for live music, because all of these things, as we know, come from Him. What really is required for us is to sing, shout and sway in Spirit and in Truth. We may not have the best voices in the world, or our P&W team may be leading the congregation on simple instruments, but praising and worshipping the Lord according to what He has taught us is one of the best things that we can offer back to Him.

Being in a praise and worship team also entails preparation and discipline. Even the Father himself disciplines us. As I’ve scoured the internet looking for good resources on praise and worship team, I have found this article on a website called Dominica2Day. I wish to share this tips to you on effective praise and worship team rehearsals, as it has helped me too in singing the best praises to the Lord. And after reading this article, don’t forget to flip the pages of your Bible to John 4:23 – 24. Join me also as we pray in preparing our hearts to praise and worship our living God.

Have you ever had a situation on your praise team where the person leading the song didn’t know where to come in after the band’s introduction? How about half of the praise band changing key after the 2nd Chorus and the rest of the players did not? Another very common scenario is that your praise singers are not nailing down that harmony part. In fact, they’re seriously off key or maybe the tenors are sadly flat. And yes, what of that important crescendo on that final worship song in last Sunday morning worship set that was totally forgotten by the entire praise team? Hmmmmmm !!!

I am sure that we (musicians, singers, and praise team folk) can readily identify with the above and many other scenarios as we endeavor to offer up our gifts and skills in praise and worship to the Most High God. How can we improve on and correct these mishaps? I mean after all, the Most High God should get the best offering. He deserves not only an anointed praise and worship session but an excellent one. I strongly believe that the desire is often there for us to “put our best foot forward” for the Lord, but often we don’t know how to get there. The road to success in any endeavor, including worship, can be summed up in one sentence...” Proper Prayerful Preparation Prevents Poor Performance.” Are you ready to take it to the next level? REHEARSALS, REHEARSALS, REHEARSALS. And not only REHEARSALS but effective ones. That’s where the vibe is.

I surely recognize that we cannot say all there is to say about rehearsals in this write-up but I want to offer a few tips and suggestions that I have found to be very effective in having fruitful, productive, and results-oriented rehearsals.

(1) The Rehearsal room (the rehearsal site). Ensure that the area is not too hot neither too cold. The area should be properly aired out and comfortable. Then make sure you have prepared in advance all music and equipment (Tapes, CD players, CD’s, Overheads, Microphones, PA system, sound person. etc.) Your preparation speaks volumes about your commitment to excellence not to mention makes your rehearsal so much more efficient.

(2) The Worship Team Members: Keeping in touch with each member of the worship team via telephone or email is very important. I usually set aside a few minutes (once a week) to call or email each member of my praise team every Monday evening at about 8:00pm just to touch base. My praise team rehearses every Tuesday evening. I have found that making that once a week call a day before rehearsal can be a good idea. If certain members are not home when you call, leave a message. Staying in touch in this way stimulates a sense of interest and responsibility among team members and there may be times when you may actually be able to minister to a need a particular member might have. Showing interest outside of the rehearsal room is crucial. Usually, what this results in is a greater sense of accountability on the part of each member. Always emphasize the importance of being at rehearsals and church services on time and in fact, 30 minutes before scheduled time. Make it a point of duty to pray for each member of the team on a daily basis.

(3) The Rehearsal Strategy on rehearsal day: First and foremost, you have to ensure that all music, lead sheets with chords, vocal parts, all lyrics of songs to be rehearsed, copies of songs etc have been handed out long before the rehearsal day so that the singers and musicians can do their homework and come to the rehearsal prepared. Of course, there will always be elements to be tweaked and fine-tuned. Use a method called “The Cumulative Approach.” This entails working on sections of music and then putting them all together once each section is perfected. Let this sink in...Repetition is the key to learning. Break the song down into sections. Learn each section independently. Go over the rough spots repeatedly. This is work. This is tedious. This can be tiring. This produces excellence. Here are 8 Key elements to work on at your praise team rehearsals. Timing and General Tempo, good–strong-definitive intros, Key changes, Tempo changes, Transitions, Dynamics, Endings, Hand Signals.

In conclusion, let me hasten to add that without a heart full of Christ, all the rehearsal in the world will not produce God-pleasing worship. Preparation in the Word and prayer must be the foundation for any successful worship leader. The Spirit gives life while the flesh counts for nothing (John 6:63). David is a good example in worship. It was David who played skillfully to the Lord whom God used to chase the evil spirit from King Saul (I Samuel 16:13-23). David had a heart for God-AND he was skilled. We too must have a heart for God and be diligent to prepare (rehearse) to worship him. We can never be satisfied with giving the Lord anything less. “Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy” (Psalm 33:3).

More next time!! God bless
